It has to be tough being across from Red's, but Sprague's does a pretty good job of it with no lines and a better view of the Sheepscot from their boardwalk.
A perfect crab roll was a mere $9.95 in late Summer of '08. The lobster roll was $15.95. The roll was toasted to perfection and filled to the brim with fresh, sweet crab meat. This was a textbook roll worthy of an "A." It tasted even better while looking at all the dopes queued up at Red's. My other addiction other than crab/lobster rolls is Diet Coke. Maine is predominantly a Pepsi and Moxie state, so I was thrilled to find they serve both Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi in ice cold 12 oz. cans.
