Just rating the lobster roll here. People have complained that I don't venture down east. I think Perry, Maine is far enough down. The roll was ok. A little heavy on the mayo. There was iceberg lettuce! The meat wasn't that sweet and a little mushy. With pretty good onion rings that came out of a freezer the roll set me back $13.99. Using the onion rings for scale, that's a pretty loaded roll.

Not Washington ME, which is about 200 miles away, but PERRY, ME.. (True, Perry is in Washington County, but Washington ME is not far from Camden, on Maine's Mid-Coast).
ReplyDeleteThe New Friendly Restaurant is an excursion restraurant for people miles around, including residents of Eastport and Calais. Their food is home-made for the most part, and reliably delicious. Even mundane meals, like pot roast, mashed potatoes and vegetables, can be a memorable treat. It's a great place to dine, and it won't break the budget either. Higly recommended!
